During our senior year we witnessed a few unforgettable events. Politically, we came to realize that it would be Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush commanding the forefront of a critical presidential race, as the Anita Hill-Clarence Thomas Hearings kept us riveted to our televisions. In February of 1992, the Winter Olympics were held in Albertville where Kristi Yamaguchi won the Gold. The spring brought us Johnny Carson signing off late night television. Nevertheless, the event that touched each one of us was that The University of Scranton was sending 1,095 of us into the world!
It is time to relive our days at Scranton and experience all that is new! So many things have changed at the University over the past 15 years. The campus has grown to include many new buildings, including a resplendent new library, under construction during our time at Scranton, modern townhouse and apartment buildings for students, and the technologically advanced Brennan Hall, only to name a few.
For all that has changed, many things have remained the same. Over these 15 years, our relationships as fellow classmates have remained and grown even stronger. Scranton’s commitment to education continues its strength in producing solid leaders in areas such as business, finance, medicine and law. Did you know that, the University received over 7,500 applications for the 2007-2008 academic year setting a record high? The secret is out! The University of Scranton is recognized as a leader in higher education.
Please join us in sending a message to the University that conveys our appreciation namely by showing
1. Our gratitude to the University for caring and nurturing us during our time in Scranton
2. That our gift to the University will give future classes the experiences we received.
